SailPoint is seeking a Manager of Productivity & Collaboration to lead our internal Business Applications team. Transitioning this function from day-to-day administration to strategic leadership, this role will own the roadmap and management of our critical productivity platforms—specifically Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Slack, Asana, Lucid, and SharePoint.
You will manage a team of two direct reports, drive vendor relationships, and spearhead the integration of AI and enhanced security measures across our tool stack to support SailPoint’s continued global scale.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Directly manage, mentor, and conduct regular performance reviews for a team of 2 application administrators, ensuring clear KPI alignment and career development.
- Strategic Platform Ownership: Develop, publish, and maintain a 12-month strategic roadmap for all owned productivity platforms, heavily prioritizing AI integration and security compliance.
- Atlassian Architecture: Act as the ultimate technical authority for our Atlassian environment, designing scalable workflows and ensuring the system meets the high-demand needs of our product engineering teams.
- Application Governance & ROI: Oversee SaaS configurations, monitor active license utilization (targeting >90% efficiency), manage vendor renewals, and optimize total cost of ownership.
- Operational Excellence: Establish a measurable operational cadence. Track and report monthly metrics on ticket resolution times, capacity planning, and project delivery SLAs.
- Experience: 5+ years of deep, architect-level experience specifically with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) is mandatory.
- Leadership: Proven experience in a Manager or Team Lead capacity, with a track record of successfully mentoring technical direct reports.
- Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. Working knowledge of APIs and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) is a strong plus.
- Project Management: Strong background in agile development processes and leading continuous delivery models.
- Communication: Executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders, negotiate with vendors, and drive cross-departmental adoption of new tools.
To ensure a successful onboarding and immediate impact, the candidate will be measured against the following milestones:
Day 1 to 30- Complete 1:1 onboarding with the 2 direct reports and assume full management responsibilities.
- Conduct 5 or more discovery meetings with key cross-functional stakeholders and vendors.
- Complete a comprehensive technical audit of the current Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) architecture.
- Present a formal findings report and optimization recommendations for the Atlassian suite to IT leadership.
- Draft the initial phase of the AI and Security roadmap for the broader productivity tool stack (Slack, Asana, etc.).
- Finalize and publish the 12-month strategic roadmap to the broader business.
- Launch an operational metrics dashboard for the team to track support ticket SLAs and project velocity.
- Begin execution on the first major Atlassian optimization project identified in the 60-day review.
