The Resmed Investor Relations (IR) team is responsible for building and maintaining effective two-way communications between Resmed and the investment community, including shareholders and other institutional investors, sell side analysts, and other financial stakeholders. This dialogue facilitates enhanced understanding and awareness of Resmed’s strategy, financial performance, and long-term growth opportunities to ultimately achieve a fair valuation for the company.

ROLE:

The Senior Associate, IR will work with the Senior Manager, IR to plan, develop, implement, and execute key aspects of Resmed’s global investor relations program. This includes building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and establishing standards and processes for IR procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare briefing material with background information for Resmed Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meeting participants in advance of meetings or conferences.
  • Maintain IR contact database to ensure meeting logistics and notes are up-to-date.
  • Support the IR team in providing timely responses to inquiries from analysts, investors, and the general public.
  • Support the quarterly earnings process, including consensus analysis, first draft of earnings presentation, Q&A research, and preparation of additional materials as needed.
  • Prepare additional investor presentations as needed.
  • Own initial draft of quarterly 13F analysis for ELT.
  • Run ELT dashboard analysis and own initial draft of dashboard.
  • Maintain sell side and buy side contact and distribution lists.
  • Collaborate with other members of the IR team to manage the investor relations website, ensuring all company information is accurate and current.
  • Provide general project support for internal and external initiatives, projects, and events.

REQUISITE SKILLS:

  • You’re highly detail-oriented and organized, with an inclination to establish processes to bring standardization and efficiency.
  • You’re a proven collaborator who enjoys working across all levels and functions of the company and with external stakeholders.
  • You are a multi-tasker who can prioritize and manage across multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • You’re a self-starter who can anticipate needs, be resourceful, and has situational awareness in a dynamic setting.
  • You have both financial acumen and a strong understanding of how investors and sell side analysts perform their jobs.
  • You’re a strategic thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in IR, corporate finance, sell side, buy side, and/or investment banking.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation modeling.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite – especially Excel and PowerPoint – and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare industry.
  • Experience with third-party financial analysis and/or IR CRM tools.
