The Impact of a Manager Integration Architects at Coupa:
Coupa is seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Architect Manager to lead a regional team within our global Technical Architecture (TA) practice. This role focuses on guiding architects who design and deliver enterprise-grade integrations between Coupa and ERP or third-party systems, ensuring customers achieve measurable business outcomes through implementation excellence.
As part of the Global TA leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our architecture practice — driving delivery standards, developing technical talent, and fostering innovation across the region. You will also collaborate with Services, Product, Customer Success, and Sales to instill confidence in Coupa’s platform and accelerate customer success.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and develop a regional team of Technical Architects, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to ensure professional growth and delivery excellence.
- Oversee architecture delivery for customer implementations, ensuring solutions align with Coupa standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
- Drive consistency and scalability by aligning regional activities with the global TA practice — including hiring, onboarding, and continuous capability development.
- Partner cross-functionally with Services, Product, Customer Success, and Sales to support both delivery and strategic pre-sales efforts when architectural confidence is key to closing opportunities.
- Promote innovation by developing reusable integration components, accelerators, automation tools, and governance frameworks that improve quality and efficiency.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical and architectural issues, guiding teams to effective and scalable resolutions.
- Lead and participate in consulting-wide initiatives, contributing to strategic programs that enhance delivery excellence, operational efficiency, and customer success across the Services organization.
- Ensure measurable outcomes through strong delivery KPIs, including customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, solution quality, and architectural compliance.
- Foster a culture of excellence by modeling Coupa’s core values — ensuring customer success, focusing on results, and striving for excellence in every engagement.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in integration or technical architecture roles, ideally in enterprise SaaS or software consulting.
- 2+ years of people or team leadership experience, leading technical or consulting teams in a delivery environment.
- Proven expertise designing and delivering large-scale integrations with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or NetSuite.
- Hands-on experience with integration technologies (sFTP, RESTful APIs, SOAP, middleware tools) and a strong foundation in SQL and relational databases.
- Domain experience in Finance and Procurement processes (Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, Expenses) and ERP integration best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success driving team performance metrics (delivery quality, CSAT/NPS, and utilization).
The estimated pay range for this role is $121,000 - $157,500 only in the United States
The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
