The Importance of the Role

The Manager in Global Program Management is a project manager who works closely with Program Management leads on Global Program Teams (GPTs), sub-teams, and/or internal/external research teams to support the completion of team goals, objectives, and deliverables.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

Utilize Program Management best practices to achieve the following:

Goals:

Provides tactical support to the Program Manager and team members monitoring and tracking on-time goal completion.

  • Supports efforts to ensure cross-functional alignment on goals within the team.
  • Helps drive sub-teams to deliver on functional plans in alignment with strategic priorities set by the global program teams.
  • Supports Program Managers as needed to generate and maintain the integrated timelines which serve as a “single source of truth” for research teams and global program teams.
  • Supports project/program tracking through the creation and maintenance of project/program dashboards and reports.
  • Partners with other Program Managers in driving key cross-program and/or departmental initiatives to promote operational excellence by improving/enhancing team performance and efficiency.

Communication:

Assists the Program Manager in maintaining a consistent and timely flow of information between teams, departments, and other key stakeholders.

  • Partners with the Program Manager to ensure effective and timely cross-sharing of key program information including, but not limited to, program status, timelines, key updates and decisions.
  • Supports the Program Manager to help maintain critical team and program information stored on websites, data logs, and databases.
  • Builds an awareness to inter-department dependencies to support project communication responsibilities.

Meeting Management:

Partners with the Program management lead and/or team lead in practicing effective meeting management and etiquette.

  • Developing effective meeting agendas
  • Facilitating preparation of slide decks
  • Captures and circulates accurate and concise minutes/action items in a timely manner to drive cross-functional communication, decision making, and accountability for deliverables.

More about You

Education:

  • BS or equivalent
  • 3-4 years industry related experience
  • Additional 1-2 years of experience in a Program management role preferred

Required Skills

  • Prior project management experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage projects/timelines, and organize/track complex information with supervision.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly experienced in using Program Management Systems / Software, such as MS Project, Adobe WorkFront, Smartsheet, OfficeTimelines, Wrike, ClickUp, Trello, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office365 Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams; preferably with a focus within pharmaceutical development.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced, matrix-based environment.
  • Ability to foster open communication, mutual understanding, and cooperation within the company and with external vendors.
  • Adaptive communication skills (including interpersonal, written, verbal) and able to influence others without authority.
  • Experience in conflict-management and resolution.
  • Solid sense of accountability and sound judgement; highest ethical standards and focus on quality.
  • Ability to implement process improvement/best practices/operational excellence.
  • Shows flexibility and is open and adaptable to change.
  • Self-motivated individual who can translate instruction into action.
  • Solution-based, creative thinker with a “can do”/”do-what-it-takes” attitude.
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive.
  • Prior technical experience in a scientific discipline desirable.

This position is remote. However, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta's facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.

The targeted salary range for this position is $112,000 - $140,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
