Integrating the disciplines of financial advisory, management consulting, investor relations, strategic communications, government affairs, risk analysis and talent advisory, Teneo’s global Financial Advisory team guides companies and their stakeholders through periods of uncertainty and stress. We help address the challenges a business faces, whether that is targeted performance improvement to Financial Advisory, or delivering a route to recover value, our focus is delivering certainty from uncertainty.

The Role

As a Manager you will have the opportunity to use your commercial awareness and professional expertise, along with leveraging the skills and expertise of others, to deliver the best possible experience and outcomes for our clients.   

Key Responsibilities
  • This role supports our Directors and senior leadership in the delivering of insolvency, restructuring or transaction engagements
  • Applying knowledge of relevant insolvency legislation to support case strategy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating on cross-border matters across our International Financial Centers (IFC) network which include Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, CARICOM, Hong Kong and The Channel Islands 
  • Providing day-to-day support to Senior Management
  • Producing high quality client deliverables within planned timescales
  • Supporting Senior Management in creating an inclusive environment
  • Assisting in the running of business development and other marketing initiatives
  • Assisting in preparing research documents, proposals and client delivery documents
  • Building client relationship skills, technical expertise and sector knowledge
  • Understanding the market, topical issues and our restructuring propositions
Key Skills & Experience
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, etc.) and/or insolvency designation preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in restructuring, insolvency or forensic services gained within a professional services company, consultancy firm or financial institution
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Financial Services industry, with experience providing guidance on the restructuring, insolvency legislation and practices, and the transaction landscape
  • Proven success in business development activities
  • Strong analytical and business analysis skills, with experience overseeing multiple client engagements
