While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.
As Manager, EWX Operations, you’ll lead the team that powers the operational backbone of EWX—owning the processes, playbooks, and scaffolding that make our programs run at scale. You’ll oversee our coordinator/specialist team, partner on cross-functional program launches, and own the systems that help us go to market effectively—from change management and comms to measurement and reporting. You’ll also play a key role in how we tell our story—helping define how we measure success and communicate our impact to the rest of Coinbase.
What You'll Be DoingLead the EWX Ops Team & Daily Execution
- Manage a team of EWX Coordinators and Specialists responsible for:
- Ticket management and employee support
- Booking hotel blocks, sending travel invites, managing logistics
- Supporting internal communications for EWX-led programs
- Maintaining dashboards and reporting on key operational health metrics
- Guide team capacity planning and prioritize support across programs and geographies.
- Ensure smooth execution of all in-flight work and surface resourcing risks early.
- Build the Scaffolding for Scalable, Effective Delivery
- Own the operational infrastructure that keeps EWX running: team rhythms, intake processes, playbooks, and tools.
- Lead go-to-market and change management planning for new program launches and office initiatives.
- Work closely with Program Managers, Internal Comms, HR Tech, and IT to land programs smoothly and ensure employees know what to expect.
- Optimize how we work across a distributed team and global footprint—ensuring processes are clear, efficient, and scalable.
- Tell the EWX Story Through Data & Communication
- Partner with People Analytics to define what success looks like for EWX—and how we track and report it.
- Build dashboards and reports to visualize our impact across offices and programs.
- Craft internal updates, QBR summaries, and leadership comms that bring our work to life for broader audiences.
- Help ensure EWX’s voice and impact are clearly understood across Coinbase.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management or operations leadership, with a proven track record in developing and executing operationally rigorous programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing direct reports, particularly in operational or logistics-focused roles.
- Robust experience in process improvement and operational efficiency at scale, delivering results with clear success metrics.
- Proven ability to drive analytical strategies and leverage data for decision-making and program enhancement.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage detailed tasks while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective.
- Strong capability in building and maintaining cross-functional relationships and influencing stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
- Customer-centric approach and adept at navigating through ambiguity.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Asana, Looker, Google Sheets, and Slack.
- Experience supporting global teams or distributed workplace programs.
- Background in internal comms, change management, or people analytics.
