Position Summary

As a Manager, Enterprise Strategy, you will be part of a team that is helping shape the strategy for:

  • Our newly formed CVS Healthspire Health Care Delivery business unit including our Retail Health (MinuteClinic), Home Care (Signify Health), Primary Care (Oak Street Health), and Value-Based Solutions businesses.

We will determine alignment based on candidate interest and experience.

Our Enterprise Strategy team is a small, high-performing group that works closely with senior leadership to pave the way for the future of our company. In Strategy, you will work hand-in-hand with senior business leaders to identify and analyze exciting new opportunities to drive growth and differentiation in a dynamic industry.

In this role, you will engage across our core businesses, develop strong relationships with senior executives, and provide analysis, guidance, and direction within areas of expertise.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leads formulation, preparation and communication of strategic and operational business plans
  • Contributes to cross-functional strategic projects executed in partnership with senior leadership
  • Leads research associated with business issues and plan formulation, including development of business cases
  • Effectively facilitates meetings and strategic workshops, including preparation and driving tangible outcomes
  • Stimulates strategic thinking in support of business direction

You will be working in a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite) in one of the CVS Health offices in Hartford, CT; New York, NY; Wellesley, MA; or Woonsocket, RI.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably with 3 years in consulting, investment banking, healthcare strategy or operations role in an analytical environment
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Experience building and evaluating financial models and quickly developing executive-level presentations and support material to successfully implement strategy
  • Ability to identify, structure and solve business problems
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated experience developing analysis, presentations and support material to successfully drive decisions and strategy implementation
  • This role may require travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background with payor or provider organizations and specifically value-based care
  • MBA Degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,360.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
