Enterprise Engineering builds internal applications that enable Datadog to operate securely and scale efficiently. The team partners with Enterprise Technology, IT Support, Physical Security, Core Observability and other business units to reduce manual work, automate workflows, and improve employee experiences. Internal products include account lifecycle management, SaaS management, identity and access data pipelines, and full-stack web applications used across the company.
You will help define strategy, set priorities through quarterly OKRs, and ensure high-impact delivery. You will mentor engineers, refine development processes, and identify automation opportunities that drive measurable value.

What You’ll Do- Define and deliver the team’s strategy, roadmap, and quarterly goals
- Manage a distributed team of software engineers, focusing on growth and delivery
- Partner with stakeholders across Datadog to identify and automate high-value workflows
- Promote Enterprise Engineering’s mission through documentation, demos, and collaboration
- Ensure strong engineering practices and compliance with security, privacy, and reliability standards
- Report on team health, productivity, and outcomes to senior leadership
- Contribute to sprint planning, RFCs, and code reviews while improving team processes
- 5+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years in a management role
- Proven success leading projects from inception to delivery while balancing technical debt and new development
- Experienced with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS/Postgres, Python, JavaScript, and Kubernetes
- Effective at coaching engineers and managing both operational and development work
- Clear communicator able to align technical and non-technical teams
- Interested in product ideation, roadmap planning, and long-term system design
