GENERAL PURPOSE

Responsible for leading the Integration and development practices for NetSuite ERP. This team is responsible for development of functionality within NetSuite and enabling integrations to other retail applications such as such as Ecommerce, POS, OMS, PIM, WMS and Enterprise Planning and Allocation. This role will manage a team of engineers specializing in NetSuite ERP and provide guidance and direction using best in class development methodologies and practices. This position requires someone that is process driven, eager to learn new technologies, and who has an eye for evaluating existing development to find ways to streamline process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Accountable for the overall chart of work within the functional area.
Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, implementation, and scheduling including resource planning.
Builds and maintains a strong network outside of the Digital organization.
Design, Implement, and Maintain configurations, customizations, and modules in NetSuite to satisfy a growing business need.
Develops integrations that are inherently secure, robust, scalable, modular, API-centric, and global.
Ensure the successful delivery and accuracy of data from NetSuite to Ecommerce platforms, WMS, OMS, and other business critical platforms.
Identifies and maintains external resource relationships; holding them accountable for deliverables.
Identifies individual team member's career development needs and resources/ activities to address them; participates in succession planning activities.
Maintains awareness of technical dependencies between projects.
Makes recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution.
Provides leadership to cross-team platform developers and product partners on retail and digital projects of all sizes.
Provides mentorship to the team.
Provides technical leadership across teams by sharing best practices and technology trends to ensure solutions are integrated in alignment with platform principles and standards.
Represents and communicates their team's capabilities to business partners.
Responsible for the design, development, cost modeling, and implementation of a modern integration approach within NetSuite.
Work with NetSuite directly and oversee third party development and deliverables within company’s NetSuite environment.
 
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant academic discipline strongly preferred.
 8+ years of professional technology experience.
 5+ years of experience with retail and commerce systems architecture and integration.
 
Skills and Abilities
Expertise in enterprise retail, commerce, and order processing systems, including experience integrating into third party services such as tax, payment, and address verification.
Experience using custom objects, records, forms, fields, and workflow to manage business process within ERP system.
Ability to provide domain expertise around data architecture, system design, and integration.
Proven ability to design, build, and implement NetSuite Solutions through customization and configuration via Suite Script, Suite Talk, Suite Flow, and Suite Cloud.
Experience building and teaching creation of saved searches along with custom reporting, forms within NetSuite along with dashboards.
Experience Importing/Exporting data using saved searches, CSV, APIs to other third-party providers.
Previous experience with role creation and management within NetSuite along with NetSuite bundle packaging, installations, and upgrades.
Experience developing integrations, API endpoint management, and programming against protocols/frameworks such REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, and GraphQL.
Familiarity with API management and tools/frameworks such as Boomi, Mulesoft, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, and other iPaaS solutions.
Experience as the “go to” contact for NetSuite with a proven track record of using troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.
Maintain calm demeanor and manage issues professionally an in accordance with company policy and standards.
Broad knowledge of fundamental technologies used to support assigned business function.
Generate ideas to improve team efficiency, effectiveness, and impact.
Serve as a role model by demonstrating a commitment to business priorities, high performance, and delivery excellence.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to senior leaders.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.

A starting compensation range for this role is $126,500.00 - $164,450.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
