Company Profile:

At Verastem Oncology, we're advancing innovation and addressing the urgent needs of patients living with cancers driven by RAS/MAPK pathway mutations, a key driver of tumor growth and treatment resistance. The FDA approval of AVMAPKI FAKZYNJA CO-PACK delivered the first therapy specifically for women living with recurrent KRAS-mutated low-grade serous ovarian cancer, a rare cancer with significant unmet need. We’ve successfully launched this innovative combination therapy in the U.S. and are exploring regulatory pathways for Europe and Japan.

We are continuing to advance our pipeline of drugs that we believe will help block cancer cell survival, inhibit tumor growth, and overcome treatment resistance. With clinical trials underway, we have an exciting opportunity to shape the future of cancer care and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients.

Summary:

This person will provide support for Development and Commercial applications with an initial focus on our Veeva Vault platforms.  Verastem employs Vaults for Commercial and Development areas including Clinical, Regulatory, Quality and Commercial areas. This role would be a core resource in partnering with each business area, managing their platforms and working to expand the value for the benefit of those platforms to our patients and pipeline programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the administration of Verastem’s Veeva Vaults (currently eTMF, Quality, RIM, PromoMats, and CRM).
  • As needed, partner on non-Veeva system implementations in support of Commercial and Development as they identify needs not addressed by their current environments. This could include implementing and managing these new systems as well as integration projects that allow disparate systems to intercommunicate.
  • Collaborate with Veeva Systems (and other vendors as needed) to stay current on new features with each release of any of the SaaS platforms and be able to make recommendations to the business teams and IT colleagues on how new features can be utilized to improve efficiency and quality of use of the systems.
  • Handle daily administrative tasks, user inquiries and issues in all Commercial and Development systems and oversee consulting or managed service partners, prioritizing their work as needed.
  • Project management for the development, testing and release of new features for established and new systems.
  • Continuously search for ways to enhance systems, advocate for these platforms and encourage user adoption and optimum usage of systems.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 2-3 years of extensive experience in Veeva Vault platforms.
  • Experience and knowledge of Commercial systems and integrations with Veeva is preferred. Other systems may include data warehouses, data marts and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of the validation process for GxP systems (CSV/CSA) is preferred.
  • Must have good communication and presentation skills to manage project meetings, address user issues, conduct training and provide system overviews.
  • Needs to be comfortable on a small team with shifting responsibilities.
