We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Manager of Customer Implementation to lead our implementation team and ensure the successful onboarding of new customers. This role combines hands-on project management with team leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate has strong SaaS experience, is comfortable leading customer-facing implementations, and excels in building and developing high-performing teams.
What You'll Do:
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of implementation managers
- Set team goals, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular coaching and feedback
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-first culture within the team
- Support hiring, onboarding, and professional development of new team members
customer Implementation Management
- Oversee the implementation lifecycle for complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare customers ensuring smooth hand off between sales and success
- Act as an escalation point for critical or strategic accounts
- Drive alignment between internal resources and customer stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Guide discovery sessions, scope configuration requirements, and facilitate data integrations
Process Optimization
- Define and continuously improve implementation methodologies, best practices, and create playbooks
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handoffs and feedback loops
Monitor team bandwidth and project timelines to allocate resources effectively
Strategic Reporting
- Track team KPIs (e.g., time-to-launch, customer satisfaction, implementation success rate)
- Report on progress, risks, and opportunities to leadership
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS implementation or project management, including 2+ years managing a team
- Background in healthcare IT or HealthTech (e.g., EHRs, population health, RCM), a plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with tools like Asana, Jira, Gainsight, Salesforce, or similar
- Bachelor's degree
