As the Manager, Creative Technology, you’ll lead a high-impact team of applied researchers and creative technologists. This team is Stability AI’s biggest value proposition to our customers; they are responsible for creating customized, brand-compliant workflows that bridge the gap between frontier AI research and enterprise-scale production. Your team designs and builds scalable solutions that unify, enrich, and derive value from varied AI/ML models across a broad industry and technology landscape.
You will be the technical subject matter expert and a strategic partner to our Sales, Product, and Marketing teams, ensuring that our cutting-edge models are deployed in ways that solve complex business challenges and delight our global client base. You will also work with a wide variety of clients to deliver the latest data science and big data technologies.
What you’ll do…- Team Leadership: Coach and mentor a growing team of creative technologists and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning and improvement to keep the deployed workflows differentiated from competition. Own and guide data processing, fine tuning and evaluation strategies, and reinforcement learning to improve decision quality.
- Technical Excellence: Serve as the "go-to" person for technical problem-solving, driving delivery excellence by establishing nimble processes for version control, environment setup, maintenance and upgrade, CI/CD pipelines, agile release trains. Particularly regarding enterprise-grade workflows and frontier model implementation.
- Product Innovation: Drive productivity and scale by creating user-friendly workflows (e.g., ComfyUI) that can be integrated into the core product.
- Business Growth: Partner with Sales to address customer challenges and develop new revenue models for deploying technology at scale.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering and PMs to productize workflows, estimate compute costs and credit consumption per generation. Also work with Marketing to articulate the value of these technologies to the market.
- 2-3 years of experience managing technical teams.
- Proven experience working within creative agencies or system integrators (e.g. Accenture Song, Code and Theory, BCG X).
- Machine Learning (ML) background with deep expertise in frontier models (Image, Video, Audio).
- Expert-level experience in ComfyUI and building automated creative workflows.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, actionable terms for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with LLMs and 3D generation.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles or technical sales.
- Strong understanding of enterprise requirements, including compliance, governance, and security.
The salary range for this role is between $155,000 and $175,000 USD. Individual pay within the range is based on factors like job-related skills and experience. Total compensation also includes stock options and benefits.
