We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Manager of Contractor & Consumer Finance. In this role, you will be an individual contributor as well as a manager overseeing an offshore team responsible for accounts payable and financial transactions for both consumers and contractor partners. You will be the owner of your domain, responsible for maintaining strong relationships internally and externally, while ensuring the integrity of core accounting functions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Contribute individually and manage two offshore finance partners in their day-to-day performance of their jobs to handle accounts payable in compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractor compensation, consumer revenue, and insurance claims

  • Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices, funds adjustment requests, and maintain accurate financial records and control reports, including 1099 preparation

  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in accordance with GAAP; provide support for annual audit compliance

  • Complete month-end close processes for the contractor and consumer areas, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain productive relationships with third-party partners

  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and improve the contractor and consumer experience

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, consumer and contractor finance, or a related financial services role

  • 2+ years of people management experience

  • Understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, month-end close, and accounts payable processes

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with both internal teams and external partners

  • Proficiency in financial systems, ERP platforms, and/or accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field

  • Proficiency working with large data sets and spreadsheets

  • Experience with insurance claims process

  • Familiar with property management, residential and commercial
