Position Purpose: Plan, manage and coordinate the analysis and configuration of claims information systems to meet business needs.

  • Oversee the configuration changes and design within core claims payment system.
  • Monitor production, backlog and accuracy of configuration.
  • Develop configuration tools and methodologies to enhance production of change requests.
  • Participate in planning, managing, analyzing, designing and implementing projects.
  • Break down problems, determine cause and provide a high-level solution to direct reports.
  • Evaluate programming techniques and training needs; select and implement training as needed.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of related IT or systems/application configuration experience, including systems design, coding, and testing.

Pay Range: $107,700.00 - $199,300.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
