TITLE: Manager, Business Intelligence (Multiple Openings)
LOCATION: Charlotte, NC
JOB SUMMARY: Manage day-to-day operations of Charter's Business Intelligence (BI) enterprise data integration team. Meet with the offshore development team daily and act as a liaison between offshore and onshore teams. Provide necessary artifacts to the development team to ensure successful work delivery. Meet with internal BI stakeholders to ensure compliance of delivered software solutions. Work with the business teams to ensure delivered product meets their requirements and expectations. Conduct weekly status meetings with stakeholders. Provide solution recommendations up to its leadership chain. Write custom code examples for both the development team and business teams in support of proof of concepts and development direction. Complete all necessary documentation/artifacts and status reporting. Code complex SQL and Shell scripting statements. Navigate data and creating efficient scripts that comply with Teradata standards. Utilize data warehouse concepts and modeling; utilize MicroStrategy including using reporting toolset and coding definitions; and Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint. Develop BI solutions, data strategies, and data best practices. Provide data integration solutions in large-scale enterprise environments. Support BI development, analysis, or architecture. Supervise work including assigning tasks to team members and determining team capacity and level of skills needed to complete work successfully.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any) or a related field. 7 years of experience developing BI solutions, data strategies, and data best practices. 5 years of experience providing data integration solutions in large-scale enterprise environments. 3 years of: experience supporting BI development, analysis, or architecture; supervisory experience including assigning tasks to team members and determining team capacity and level of skills needed to complete work successfully. Hybrid office and remote arrangement is available.
