With dynamic customer needs and healthcare landscape, it is imperative for CVS Pharmacy to assess, refresh and evolve its business strategy continuously to own the marketplace and best meet our patient's healthcare needs. You and the broader team play an instrumental role in analyzing new innovative sources of growth, and influencing and evolving CVS Retail Pharmacy Strategy.
You will:
- Create executive‑ready presentations in PowerPoint that use data to craft compelling narratives, enabling leaders to understand insights, risks, and strategic opportunities.
- Lead recurring business‑critical analyses and reporting, evaluating when to automate processes versus maintain ad hoc workflows based on stakeholder needs.
- Deliver complex ad hoc analytics supporting high‑priority retail pharmacy and payer initiatives using SQL, Python, Foundry, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Build strong cross‑functional partnerships, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project activities, clarify requirements, and drive aligned decision‑making.
- Develop deep expertise in CVS pharmacy data assets and leverage advanced analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Palantir Foundry) to execute high‑impact analyses.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of strategy, consulting, product development, product management, operations, retail pharmacy, or similar experience required.
- 2+ years’ experience with custom queries in relational databases (such as SQL/Snowflake/GCP or Foundry)
- 2+ years of Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
- Prior consulting experience or experience in a similarly fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to uncover root causes and translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to feedback, and pivot based on evolving business needs.
- Master’s degree in a quantitative, business, or healthcare‑related field.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of industry-related analytical experience

The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
