This is a role within Chamberlain Group's Customer Experience function. This role will lead broad, strategic business intelligence projects to deliver innovative, scalable, and actionable data-based solutions. The role will manage these projects and recommend data-based insights to guide Customer Experience leadership in creating new customer experiences and finding opportunities for continuous improvement.  The role will also act as the CE group’s subject matter expert in defining their data storage, data analysis and data visualization strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to lead and collaborate on strategic business intelligence projects across business units

  • Lead design and implementation of scalable, best-in-class business intelligence solutions and processes

  • Define platform for analyses and determine opportunities for system integration

  • Run ad-hoc analyses to help drive projects and key business initiatives forward

  • Provide cross-functional strategic and tactical support

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

  • Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members

  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies

  • Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications

  • Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Chamberlain Group mission, vision and values.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 7+ years’ work experience in business intelligence, analytics and data engineering, or similar functions

  • Experience in relational and dimensional datasets, data warehousing, and ETL techniques to deliver BI solutions in a business environment with large-scale complex datasets

  • Experience partnering with business owners directly to understand requirements and advise on the analytical method needed to solve the problem

  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to use data to back up assumptions and develop business cases.

  • Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams and develop clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses.

  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured role and iterate with continuous improvements

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Able to travel occasionally - United States

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence or a similar quantitative field

  • Experience in working with customer data in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM)

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, Power BI and Excel or relevant equivalent options

  • Experience with using and/or building cloud based data solutions (MS Azure preferred)

  • Customer Support Operations experience

The pay range for this position is $97,700.00 - $157,475.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
