Summary
The Manager, Alliances and Channels is responsible for establishing Analytics8 as the preferred services provider across the Databricks, dbt, and Sigma communities and driving Analytics8’s growth strategy through high-impact partnerships, scalable offerings, and go-to-market innovation. The Manager, Alliances and Channels manages Analytics8 collaborations with technology partners, accelerates client outcomes, and scales service delivery through productized solutions. This role serves as a strategic bridge between Sales, Delivery, and Marketing to ensure external alignment and internal readiness across all stages of the partner and product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Leadership Roadmap
• Collaborates with the CTO and Executive Leadership to define the long-term vision for strategic alliances
• Establishes a unified structure for Analytics8 to categorize and communicate its products, frameworks, accelerators, and service offerings.
• Leads initiatives to maintain Analytics8’s top-tier status with strategic partners by aligning on certifications, co-sell priorities, and go-to-market (GTM) programs; collaborates with the Delivery team to ensure ongoing compliance with partner requirements
Product Development
• Designs and evolves packaged services and repeatable deployment templates that enable Analytics8 to scale effectively.
• Owns and actively prioritizes the product roadmap by integrating inputs from key stakeholders and sources, including:
• Company vision and long-term strategy (via CTO and Executive Team)
• Messaging and market positioning (via Marketing)
• Market trends, demand signals, and pipeline insights (via Pre-Sales)
• Direct client feedback and delivery outcomes (via Consulting and Project Teams)
• In-flight projects and near-term opportunities ("bird in hand")
Sales and Delivery Alignment
• Partners closely with Pre-Sales and Delivery teams to identify client patterns, solution gaps, and repeatable wins
• Translates field insights into scalable assets and offerings that reduce time-to-value and improve client impact
• Acts as the strategic link between sales and delivery to ensure alignment, cohesive execution, and consistent client experience
• Builds and tracks a co-sell pipeline, as well as partner-influenced and partner-sourced service opportunities
• Enables partner field teams to proactively position Analytics8 services and ensures offerings are maintained in partner knowledge systems (e.g., Sigma’s Partner Solution Directory)
• Captures patterns in client demand to inform the product roadmap and shape future offerings
GTM Strategy and Marketing Positioning
• Collaborates with Marketing to ensure offerings are clearly and compellingly positioned in the market
• Contributes to messaging frameworks, use cases, differentiators, and campaign content to support pipeline growth
• Supports the successful launch of new offerings by aligning with GTM teams and delivering clear value-driven positioning and competitive insights. Promotes Analytics8 brand and its solutions through ecosystem events, webinars, blogs, partner knowledge management systems, and partner directories; often in conjunction with Marketing
Essential Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, solution engineering, or service design, preferably within a data and analytics-focused consulting firm
• Direct experience working in or alongside the Databricks ecosystem, and similar modern cloud data platforms
• Proven track record of managing and scaling partner ecosystems
• Deep understanding of data, analytics, and AI/ML including how these technologies can be productized within a services framework
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and facilitation abilities
• Demonstrated success in building and managing enablement programs that foster and accelerate adoption and alignment across teams
• Comfort operating across strategic and tactical levels shifting seamlessly between high-level strategic thinking and detailed hands-on execution
Salary and Benefits
At Analytics8, we are committed to providing fair and equitable packages that support our employees' success both at work and in life. Our comprehensive approach includes a competitive base salary, and a suite of benefits designed to help employees thrive.
For the position of Manager, Alliances and Channels, the base salary range is $125,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition, employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Please note that salary ranges are subject to change and may be modified at any time.
