About the Team
The Ad Ops team at Roku plays a crucial role in driving the success of Roku's monetization strategy. This team is responsible for excellence in execution for our Direct IO and Programmatic businesses. This team books ad campaigns, QAs creatives, prepares reporting, and manages Deal IDs, using 1st and 3rd party ad tech. We are a very collaborative team, working closely with our Client Services, Inventory, and Product partners to meet advertisers' needs, while also optimizing and streamlining internal processes.
About the Role
As the Manager of Ad Operations, you will oversee several Ad Ops and Senior Ad Ops Associates while working closely with our Account Management, Inventory Management, and Product team leads to make every campaign that runs on Roku’s platform a success. The position reports to the Director of Ad Operations, based in NYC.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage a team of Ad Ops Associates who own the implementation of advertising campaigns from start to finish: monitor and optimize multiple campaigns at a time, ensure campaigns launch and deliver on schedule and according to client expectations.
- Take on campaign implementation for high-profile clients or campaign launches at times of especially high volume, as needed.
- Implement and enforce processes that enable the team to scale and work efficiently
- Partner with Client Services leads to ensure handoffs run smoothly and mistakes during campaign set up are avoided.
- Identify trends regarding which campaigns tend to run into trouble and which perform particularly well on the Roku platform, and why.
- Identify issues that prevent campaigns from hitting KPI’s and performance benchmarks and propose solutions.
- Provide internal and external sales stakeholders with exceptional customer service and support
- Contribute to ad hoc strategic projects that will help drive revenue growth for Roku.
We're excited if you have
- 4-7 years’ experience in digital ad operations at a publisher, an ad tech company, ad agency or ad network
- Familiarity with OTT advertising a plus
- Experience in display and video advertising with a premium publisher or agency
- Experience with IAB VAST
- Experience with GAM and digital ad serving tools for video and display
- Familiarity with the digital ad sales process
- Preferred: experience with SalesForce
- Analytical, project management, deadline-drive, and process-oriented personality
