As a Machine Learning Engineer on our Data Science team at ActivTrak, you'll be at the forefront of our AI/ML driven analytics initiatives. You will research, build, and deploy cutting edge ML models that deliver critical business value and actionable insights.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to tackle petabyte-scale data challenges, working with millions of events daily across thousands of customers. Your responsibilities will span the entire ML lifecycle, from sourcing and transforming raw data into robust features to managing and optimizing models in production.

You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering closely with engineering and business teams to translate complex data into clear answers for our customers' most pressing questions. Prior experience in the end-to-end research, development, and production deployment of high-impact ML models is highly valued.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, data science, data engineering, or a related technical field
  • Proficiency in using Python and SQL for model development and data analysis
  • Experience leveraging libraries and tools for dataframes and vectors (Pandas, Polars, etc).
  • Experience with Classification and Regression algorithms
  • Experience with Model evaluation techniques
  • Familiarity with Supervised and Unsupervised learning approaches
  • Familiarity with Probability, Statistics, and Linear Algebra

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with timeseries datasets
  • Familiarity with leveraging LLMs and the concepts behind RAG
  • Familiarity with working in Cloud Platforms (GCP a plus)
  • Familiarity with using Docker and deploying to Kubernetes
  • Interest in Agentic AI
