Our Opportunity:
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer II at our Boston, MA location to apply artificial intelligence and/or machine learning methods to design, test and scale effective, reliable frameworks, systems, and models to improve the usefulness of big data and predictive applications.
What You'll Do:
  • Research, implement, and test machine learning algorithms and tools to solve data challenges and to improve quality and reliability of data.
  • Develop machine learning applications according to requirements; design, code, test, deploy and iterate on machine learning systems.
  • Research and remain current on machine learning and optimization techniques.
  • Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur.
  • Work with data scientists, application developers, product managers and software engineers to develop and support software for new machine learning products.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

What You'll Need:
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field and 2 years of experience.
  • Will also accept a PhD and 0 years of experience.
  • Experience or coursework must involve: developing and deploying optimization, predictive and machine learning model;
  • Designing optimization and machine learning solutions for large-scale applications;
  • Applying advanced mathematics and DS methodologies;
  • Machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and programming languages (Python);
  • Building distributed pipelines, tuning, optimizing, and evaluating;
  • MLOps best practices and demonstrated use of Software Engineering best practices and cloud service/platform (Databricks, AWS);
  • Techniques including Predictive Models (Time Series and Regression);
  • Translating complex data sets and research into simple business recommendations.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.
  • The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
Base Salary Range
$140,850-$193,500 USD
