Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn't work together.
So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions - to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we've embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.
Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes - large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We're building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.
We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative leader committed to delivering excellence in logistics solutions. As a key member of the Hardware Global Fulfillment team, this individual will play a pivotal role in driving cross-brand NPIs, enhancing post-purchase platforms, and advancing other critical fulfillment workstreams.
You Will:
  • Lead fulfillment readiness for all New Product Introductions (NPIs) - translate launch requirements into operational plans, coordinate dependencies across Product, Engineering, Operations, and SDM, and ensure on-time, high-quality launches.
  • Serve as the key cross-functional liaison on the fulfillment team - align stakeholders, track milestones, resolve risks, and maintain transparent communication from planning through post-launch stabilization.
  • Drive continuous improvement - capture lessons learned, implement scalable processes, and integrate post-purchase and reverse logistics considerations into future launches.development for new products
  • Own and manage post-purchase platforms (Narvar, AfterShip) - oversee commercial relationships, contracts, and performance; partner with Engineering to address technical issues, troubleshoot integrations, and ensure optimal platform functionality.
  • Shape long-term post-purchase platform strategy - assess vendor performance, lead RFPs as needed, and guide platform enhancements to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and scalability.
  • Expand into cash fulfillment initiatives - strengthen and scale underdeveloped processes to build a more robust, efficient fulfillment operation.
  • Chair the Fraud Core Team (FCT) and drive key fraud and logistics initiatives - Collaborate with Square-owned carriers as well internal stakeholders (including Shop, Risk, Trust and Safety) to combat unauthorized returns and abuse of returns policies.

Qualifications
You Have:
  • 7+ years in supply chain business management
  • Effective project management and independent problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of 3PL logistics processes
  • Ability to implement scalable tools and processes, and to define and track key metrics/KPIs
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity
  • Proficiency in data and visibility tools (Looker, Snowflake) and working knowledge of warehousing systems (WMS/ERP/OM)

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
