About the role
The mission of this position is to lead the store to sustained success by delivering exceptional customer experiences, achieving and exceeding sales and payroll goals, and fostering a high-performing, engaged team. This role is critical in creating a magical and welcoming environment for customers while maintaining operational excellence, driving business growth through strategic planning and execution, and ensuring the store meets its financial objectives. By setting a standard of excellence in sales leadership, team development, and business management, the manager ensures the store's continued success and alignment with the company's vision and values.
Accountabilities
- Sales Leadership and Customer Experience Lead by example as a top-performing sales contributor, spending 80% of working hours (equivalent to four 8-hour shifts at varying times throughout the week) providing sales floor coverage. Drive and exceed sales targets across multiple metrics while supporting staff in achieving their personal goals. Drive customer traffic through center partnership, community engagement, and collaboration with nearby businesses.
- Team Development and Operations Management Focus on team development through training, leadership, and fostering a thriving team culture by identifying and nurturing top talent.Efficiently manage daily store operations, including inventory organization, weekly procurement, and maintaining the location to the highest company standards. Create and manage staff schedules to optimize productivity and customer service, stepping in to cover shifts as needed.
- Business Performance and Talent Management Maintain the store to the highest company standards, including inventory management, organization, and visual standards. Leverage company systems to conduct business analysis, identify trends, and develop actionable plans to achieve and exceed business goals. Ensure the store meets both sales and payroll goals by monitoring metrics and adjusting staffing and operations as necessary.

- Sales and Leadership Excellence: Proven track record as a top performer with strong leadership skills to train, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a positive culture.
- Operational and Financial Acumen: Experience managing store operations, including scheduling, inventory, and achieving sales and payroll goals. Proficient in analyzing performance metrics and performance management.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to dynamic schedules and ensure seamless store operations during unexpected changes.
