JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with department guidelines:
- Handle complex and sensitive subpoenas served on the company, including response strategy, data/document coordination, and legal objections or negotiations.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant subpoena responses in collaboration with internal stakeholders and third-party administrators.
- Monitor and improve subpoena response workflows and protocols using data analytics and process improvement methodologies.
- Monitor outsourced team of attorneys and paralegals who are responsible for the intake, review, response and resolution of 3rd party subpoenas served on the company.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to subpoena handling and commercial insurance.
May perform additional duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Strong interest and experience in legal operations, with a working knowledge of legal processes and systems.
- Advanced legal expertise, particularly in litigation and subpoena response.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams is a plus.
- Familiarity with legal technology platforms and data analytics tools.
Education & Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (required).
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant legal experience
- Experience with 3rd party subpoena response.
