Role: Senior Linux Administrator (Hybrid)
Location: Annapolis, MD (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

We are seeking a Senior Red Hat Linux Administrator to manage and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux system administration, automation (Ansible, Bash, Python), system performance, security, and backup/disaster recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers.
- Perform upgrades, patching, and system hardening.
- Automate tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python.
- Support Red Hat Satellite, IdM, and other enterprise tools.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure 24/7 availability.
- Collaborate with application and security teams.
- Document system procedures and configurations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in CS, Engineering, or related field.
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA).
- 10+ years RHEL and AIX (IBM pSeries) experience.
- 15+ years overall IT experience preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle, WebLogic, Apache, VMware, PeopleSoft, and backup systems.
- Strong networking, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in high-availability, enterprise environments.
