Location: Preference for Boston area but open to the U.S.

We’re looking for a Life Sciences Sales Lead who thrives at the intersection of science and technology, guiding biotech and pharma leaders toward cutting-edge solutions like GenAI. You understand the unique challenges of scaling AI in life sciences, from regulatory concerns to cloud infrastructure hurdles, and you’re passionate about turning those challenges into opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the sales process (prospecting, sales meetings, company introductions and presentations, proposals, negotiations and account management) with support from a senior sales lead.
  • Build, nurture and maintain relationships with potential Life Sciences clients and partners by attending in-person meetings, lunches, conferences etc.
  • Understand clients’ business environments and communicate Loka’s value proposition clearly. Your ability to comprehend how software products are built, beyond just memorizing selling points, is crucial.
  • Maintain current Lifesciences industry and product knowledge.
  • Conduct market research to generate new business opportunities.
  • Manage projects for various sales initiatives.

Requirements

Must Have:

  • 3+ years experience in the Life Sciences industry
  • Basic understanding of data infrastructure, machine learning, and/or cloud architectures
  • Ability to travel to meet clients and attend industry events up to 25% of the month
  • Native English fluency
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Strongly Preferred:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and aptitude for learning quickly
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines and adapt to changes in environment and priorities
  • Attention to detail and comfort within fast-paced work environment
  • Experience with AWS and understanding of core AWS Services
  • Clean criminal record

  • Salary range $130,000–-$150,000
