Your New Adventure: Life Science Reagent Site Finance LeaderThe Big PictureAs the Life Science Reagent Site Finance Leader at Revvity, you'll be the financial compass guiding our operations to success. You'll transform our company's financial strategies into actionable plans while overseeing financial functions that ensure both operational excellence and strategic goal achievement. - Ensure that reporting procedures impacting Revvity's LS Reagent MFG Sites product costing (COGS) and OCOGS are in accordance with approved methods and approaches defined by corporate HQ, Global Operations, finance, and local management.
- Participate in forecast calls that will result in a monthly and quarterly revenue and expense forecast and will provide support to the Operations leadership team that is required to make informed business decisions.
- Lead and support the team regarding the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process; including all administrative processes belonging to a team leading role (target setting, performance follow-up, guidance & support, hiring new employees).
- Partner with the LS reagent site leader to provide analysis that will drive business insights (ie. Footprint, capacity, gross margin).
- Support ERP implementations of LS reagent sites (SAP S4 Hana and D365).
- Standardize Global Operations finance processes including reporting practices, cost accounting, and product costing.
- Collaborate with team members and the controllership organization to ensure that financial procedures and methods are followed properly; reporting to local/global management of any factors which may potentially endanger integrity and/or may have impact of achieving pre-defined organizational goals.
- Collaborate with other functions to ensure goal-alignment within Global Operations Leadership objectives (e.g. Sourcing/Procurement Cl, Business/Commercial Finance, R&D).
- Providing leadership and development to a team of professionals that sets high quality standards for performance and is committed to organizational goals, including assigning responsibilities; hiring, training, motivating and coaching employees; assessing and recommending appropriate staffing levels; managing employee performance; and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.
- Driving employee engagement, training, and development to maximize accuracy and productivity.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience in manufacturing or life sciences including controllership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in Cost Accounting and Cost Accounting Systems
- Knowledge of SAP D365 and Hyperion preferred
- Excellent Excel skills; Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in PowerBI and AI tools
- Proven ability to recruit, train, develop and motivate employees and teams to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and data-driven analytical expertise
- Well-developed interpersonal skills – an ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of the organization; ability to recognize and adapt to diverse personalities with tact and maturity
- Highly motivated goal-oriented self-starter
- Adaptable/Flexible: Being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations in a high paced environment with changing needs
- High Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
