We’re seeking a Legal Research Analyst to join our forward-thinking legal team. As a technology company focused on providing secure remote online notarizations, we are deeply rooted in local, state, and federal law. Day-to-day, you’ll perform in-depth research on a new & emerging legal landscape and be asked to synthesize and present pertinent information. We’re looking for someone who can rapidly become the subject matter expert on all relevant legislative matters and serve as a helpful resource to internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Track, review, advise, and draft pending legislation and regulations.
  • Research current laws and regulations.
  • Maintain databases of current laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Public Affairs members on market-specific legislative efforts.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced professional legal or policy environment, with the ability to demonstrate legislative review experience. (Paralegal experience is a plus)
  • Significant experience researching and explaining complex legal and technical concepts.
  • Stellar written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently organize and manage a diverse workload with competing deadlines.
  • Comfort working directly with legislators, legislative staff members and regulatory bodies.
