Assistant General Counsel

As an Assistant General Counsel at Bullhorn, you will be supporting the legal department, direct and partner sales channels and finance. You will cover a broad range of commercial and corporate matters.
As an Assistant General Counsel, a typical day might include:
- Drafting and negotiating domestic and international customer, reseller and partner agreements, as well as license agreements
- Reviewing and negotiating vendor contracts
- Negotiating and drafting statements of work, professional services agreements, contractor agreements and outsourcing agreements
- Reviewing RFPs, security questionnaires and NDAs
- Providing advice and drafting documentation regarding regulatory compliance including data protection, and privacy and security
- Negotiating disputes and providing general negotiating advice to sales and finance
- Providing general corporate support including compliance, M&A, and leasing
This job might be for you if:
- You’ve earned a law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and are a member of the bar in one state, preferably Massachusetts
- You have 5+ years of in-depth experience in a law firm and/or in house working directly with sales, legal and finance teams, and suppliers, customers, resellers and partners
- You have a strong knowledge of, and experience in, negotiating customer, reseller, partner and license agreements in a SaaS environment, and vendor agreements
- You have a strong knowledge of IP licensing law particularly in a SaaS environment
- You pride yourself on your knowledge of US, UK and EU data protection/privacy and security legislation including GDPR, CCPA, Privacy Shield, and state laws
- You are an efficient, well-organized, detail-oriented person that can manage multiple projects
Bonus points for:
- You have international experience and a working knowledge of UK and European laws particularly with respect to contracting and IP licensing
