Join our dynamic in-house Legal team and play a key role in delivering a broad range of impactful corporate legal services that support and shape our business operations. As the Legal Operations and Contract Specialist, you'll:
Effectively explain licensing and other legal and contracting principles to internal clients and external customers
Proficiently draft various agreements and capture negotiated provisions in Lyric contract documents with minimal oversight
Manages or participates in complex projects involving multiple stakeholders through to completion in a timely, efficient, and collaborative fashion
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Drafts and reviews contracts and provides guidance on contract standards
Identifies, analyzes, researches, and resolves legal and business process issues and makes appropriate recommendations
Conducts and participates in contract negotiations
Identifies risk, determines the level of risk, and escalates appropriately
Recommends, develops and/or implements contracting policies, procedures, and processes
Monitors compliance with internal business and legal processes and policies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in related field
5+ years experience in private or in-house contracting, preferably in sales contracts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
7+ yrs supporting healthcare technology transactions
Listens to the needs of the internal client or external customer to understand the broader context of issues that arise during contract negotiations and strategic initiatives
Drives results by having a results-oriented style with a high degree of analytical ability and proven problem-solving skills
Collaborates and influences by effectively building strong internal and external relationships
Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization with an open, honest, and direct style that establishes empathetic and effective relationships
