Your Mission
Reporting to the VP, Legal Affairs you will manage and oversee a variety of contract types including master service agreements, business associate agreements, and material transfer agreements, primarily focused on healthcare and life sciences. You will play a key role in reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations to support our commercial and research collaborations in the North America region.
The value you add
- Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of various contract types including MSAs, BAAs, MTAs, and research collaboration agreements, ensuring compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with sales, legal, and compliance teams to support contract negotiations and approvals, providing frontline review and handling routine amendments to accelerate deal closures.
- Monitor contract performance metrics and maintain organized contract databases to ensure timely execution and renewal, facilitating clear communication of contract status to stakeholders.
- Use your knowledge of commercial law to provide drafting, negotiation and business counsel to support key commercial transactions, drive projects to completiont and help mitigate legal or business risk
- Where suitable, add knoweldge of healthcare law, technology IP or Data protection to further support or enhance legal processes
We know that every background is different, but to be best set for success we see you bringing:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, administration, or ownership.
- Direct working knowledge in reviewing, negotiating, and managing a variety of contracts including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), and research collaboration agreements.
- Direct experience healthcare-related industries such as Clinical Research, Medical Diagnostics, Biopharma, MedTech, or healthcare services.
- As a public organisation facing ongoing commercial growth, you will bring a success-orientated and solutions-focused mindset that embraces team collaborations, change, growth and inclusion.
Although there may be other additional skills that add value, we define these as the minimum criteria of experience needed to be successful in this role. Candidates without this core experience are unlikely to progress in this process.
