Provide administrative support at a plaintiff's law firm: process incoming and outbound mail, communicate with clients, order and follow up on medical records, perform general administrative duties, and work closely with the firm administrator. Small to medium-size plaintiff's law firm needs a full-time legal administrative assistant to join the firm in our Bel Air office. The job responsibilities will include processing incoming mail, preparing outbound mail, communicating with clients, ordering and following up on medical records, and other administrative duties as needed. The position offers room for growth in responsibilities and will include working closely with our firm administrator. Salary will increase with an expansion of job responsibilities. We also offer a complete benefits package.
Qualifications- Must be proficient with technology, skilled with basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Adobe), and able to learn case management software and other computer software quickly and efficiently.
- A valid driver's license is required since the position includes taking outbound mail to USPS/FedEx/UPS for shipping.
- Legal experience is a plus, but not a requirement. The firm is willing to teach the right candidate.
