About the role

As a Learning Specialist, your primary responsibility is to train new hires across Enova’s contact center. You will also work on projects and initiatives that enhance training materials and delivery. This role requires collaboration across departments to ensure that learning strategies promote the on-the-job performance vital to maintaining customer success and satisfaction. 

In this role, you will model Enova’s values through daily interactions, fostering collaboration, respect, and a culture of continuous learning. The Learning Specialist promotes a positive and inclusive learning environment that reflects Enova’s commitment to integrity, teamwork, and customer-centric excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily virtual training sessions for contact center new hires as well as occasional training sessions for more tenured employees to address ongoing education needs.
  • Develop and maintain expertise on Enova’s brands and contact center functions.
  • Educate new employees on product details, contact center scripts and processes, and essential interpersonal skills to promote customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of big-picture business objectives and updates to ensure training remains up-to-date and directly supports operational success. 
  • Document and maintain records related to new hire performance in the classroom.
  • Monitor and report on key training performance indicators (e.g. trainee performance metrics, class completion rates, and post-training performance outcomes). 
  • Liaise with stakeholders across departments to pinpoint performance gaps and assess training requirements. 
  • Collaborate with peers on the Learning & Development Team to develop and/or update comprehensive training materials.
  • Identify areas for improvement within existing training programs, propose optimized training approaches, and integrate enhancements into training materials.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of previous training, teaching, and/or coaching experience in a high-demand, high-output role with a proven record of success and accomplishment.
  • Skilled facilitator with the ability to manage and engage groups in a virtual setting.
  • Knowledge of adult learning best practices.
  • Experience with online and web-based videoconferencing platforms. 
  • Experience with presentation software such as Google Slides or PowerPoint and spreadsheet software such as Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Tech-savvy, able to quickly learn new platforms, software, and technology.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills; experienced at balancing multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Clear, professional communicator with strong emotional intelligence. Able to influence others and gain stakeholder buy-in. 
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation 

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
