Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically savvy Learning Management System (LMS) Manager to oversee, optimize, and support our learning platform. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless user experience, maintaining data integrity, and enabling the successful delivery of training and development programs across the CRO organization.
This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Head of Revenue Enablement Strategy and Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and administrator for the LMS, overseeing configuration, user access, course uploads, content management, and system updates.
  • Partner with instructional designers, onboarding team, trainers, and field readiness managers to publish, schedule, and manage learning programs and certifications.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues related to content playback, user access, or system errors.
  • Generate and analyze reports on course completions, user engagement, compliance, survey data and other training KPIs.
  • Support user onboarding, provide training and documentation for LMS users, and act as a point of contact for system-related questions.
  • Manage content libraries, integrations (e.g., HRIS, SSO, SCORM/xAPI), and third-party courseware.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO, etc.).
  • Stay current with LMS platform updates and industry trends to recommend new features or process improvements.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as an LMS Manager and Administrator or similar role in learning technology.
  • Experience with one or more enterprise LMS platforms (e.g., Absorb, Intellum, SumTotal, Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, Docebo, Saba, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SCORM, AICC, xAPI, HTML5, or other eLearning standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in generating and interpreting learning reports.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Aborb LMS is a plus.
  • Experience with LMS integrations with HRIS or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles or instructional design best practices.
  • Certification in learning technologies or LMS platforms is a plus.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
