The Learning Experience Design Director is accountable for the successful design and development of a high quality and high impact learning experiences in line with business objectives and the needs of various CFC learner types and roles. The Learning Experience Design Director will leverage and lead the utilization of the GCET's learning technology stack to maximize individual, team, and organizational performance.
As a subject matter expert in curriculum, experience, and instructional design, the Learning Experience Design Director is responsible for leading and executing the design vision of GCET's learner journeys and educating GCET teams on transferring that vision into buildable learner journeys, in-line with content standards, business objectives, modality principles, and CFC/learner role-based priorities. The role reports to the Learning Experience & Innovation Lead in GCET.

What You Will Achieve
- Partner across GCET Leadership Team, GCET Subject Matter Experts to include Multimodal Implementation / Platform System Operations Teams as well as Curriculum and/or Skills Leads, Innovative Program & Design Directors, and Digital partners to lead, plan, design, and curate learning assets, curricula, content, and programs for Commercial, US-based CFCs across Customer Engagement Platforms/Business Units (Primary Care; Specialty Care to include Inflammation & Immunology, Rare Disease and Hospital Business Unit; Oncology; and Global Value & Access / US Market Access)
- Leverage current and emerging learning technologies and design tools to design engaging solutions through Axonify, Degreed, SuccessFactors, Veeva, QStream, video, audio, and documents
- Lead and apply instructional design approaches and advise on measurement strategies
- Function as a design lead for GCET teams to assess client needs, curate content, and ensure compliance with content standards
- Present solution concepts and designs to commercial leaders
- Stay informed about the latest trends and research in learning technology to continuously improve the curriculum
- Follow 'air traffic control' principles and understand the importance of meeting learners where they are (including knowing when (and what type of content) to drop to learners as well as the importance of avoiding content overload)
- Collaborate with measurement/impact and analytics teams to continuously improve instructional design processes based on data insights
- Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations in all instructional materials
- Ensure development plans utilize diverse and innovative methodologies for delivery and are produced with high quality in support of Inspection Readiness.
- Plan and execute assigned projects, associated budgets, timelines and other project specific deliverables within the scope of the initiative/project
- Manage course developments and designs across multiple projects concurrently
- Monitor, manage, and communicate status updates to multi-disciplinary teams on a routine basis

- Manage deliverables according to endorsed plans and timelines

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of prior, demonstrated subject matter expertise and experience (and/or equivalent professional certifications) in instructional design, learning strategy, and/or experience design,particularly in developing and curating training curricula using blended delivery methods and or equivalent professional experiences within Commercial CFC organizations
- 10+ years of successful project management experience and superb organization skills
- 7+ years of Commercial people leader experience or Commercial matrix leadership (or equivalent experience)
- Strong track record of successfully influencing leader level stakeholders (Directors, Senior Directors, Vice Presidents) without authority
- Demonstrated familiarity and/or experience with microlearning, learning experience/management platforms, adaptive learning, enablement, digital processes, and Commercial CFC ways of working / operations
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building productive partnerships internally and collaborating and leading across multiple functions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and a high level of competency with various tools
- Ability to analyze data to derive key insights and make strategic decisions
