🌟 Your Impact at Lila

As our Human Potential Architect (Learning and Development Lead), you’ll join us as the fourth member of our global Human Resonance team—Lila’s approach to People & Culture. This is a foundational role for someone who thrives on building programs from scratch, thinks like a designer, and can translate vision into systems that scale.

You’ll work closely with the VP of Human Resonance to bring to life the developmental backbone of our Human Outcome Optimization strategy—an ambitious new approach to performance, progression, and growth. You’ll also play a critical role in the launch of our new HRIS, helping to build the skills inventory, mentoring programs, internal mobility design, and more.

This is a M3/M4 individual contributor role—ideal for someone who wants to shape, build, test, and launch programs that will support thousands of people over time.

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days/week in-office)

🛠️ What You'll Be Building

  • Design & Deliver Learning Systems
    • Build Lila’s first-ever development programs, with a focus on manager enablement, onboarding, career progression, and growth experiences
    • Design with inclusivity and scale in mind—prioritizing clarity, impact, and adaptability
  • Co-Build the Human Outcome Optimization Strategy
    • Partner directly with the VP of Human Resonance to create learning experiences that support our reimagined approach to performance, feedback, and human development
    • Translate conceptual frameworks into scalable, high-ROI tools and moments
  • Enable Through Technology
    • Support the rollout of our new HRIS by designing core learning components including a company-wide skills inventory, gap assessment framework, and mentoring network
    • Contribute to the internal mobility strategy and talent mapping infrastructure
  • Facilitate & Empower
    • Deliver live and asynchronous training for individuals, teams, and people managers
    • Help build a culture of shared learning—where feedback flows, people grow, and knowledge moves
  • Collaborate Across the Organization
    • Partner with DEIB, HRBPs, and business leaders to ensure development programs support inclusive, dynamic, and high-trust team environments
    • Work cross-functionally to embed learning into the employee experience—from onboarding through advanced role transitions

🧰 What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Builder Mentality: You’re energized by blank slates. You’ve launched programs from scratch, rebuilt broken systems, or turned early ideas into something that lasts.
  • Learning Design Expertise: You have experience in instructional design, content creation, and live facilitation. You know how to design with adult learning principles in mind, and how to keep people engaged—especially in hybrid environments.
  • Technical Fluency: You’re comfortable with LMS platforms, HRIS data structures, and digital tools. Experience with skills frameworks, learning libraries, or mentoring software is a plus.
  • Startup Agility: You’ve worked in early-stage companies or fast-scaling environments. You’re not thrown off by ambiguity—you move through it with clarity and speed.
  • Collaborative Confidence: You know how to partner with senior leaders while building strong relationships across all levels. You bring people into the process and make them feel heard.
  • No Formal Requirements: We care most about how you think and what you’ve built. No specific degree or credential is required for this role. We welcome people with unconventional paths.
