As part of the Converse Wholesale Planning team, you'll unleash the power of data and insights to forecast and drive consumer demand. You’ll work closely with the Integrated Planning Team, Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising to inform strategy and commercial decisions.

In this role, you will report to the Director of NA Wholesale Marketplace Planning and collaborate extensively with the NA Wholesale & Integrated Planning teams to drive and optimize the current business.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for Lead Wholesale Planner to join the Converse North America Wholesale team. This position is designed to drive optimized sales and profits for Converse and Partners by applying standard retail sales & inventory management principles, focusing energy against the entire Converse selling cycle (e.g. financial planning, seasonal product sell in, in season business / consumer information analysis and product distribution) while recommending action steps and influencing key processes in each phase needed to maximize sales results.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding planning & analysis using commercial KPIs with the ability to synthesize business performance into key highlights & action plans. The ideal candidate will be passionate about evolving the business forward, expanding & building cross-functional partnerships, and thrive in a dynamic & fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.

  • 3-5 years in merchandise planning, digital planning, or business planning

  • Expert Retail Math skills including intricacies of open to buy and margin management

  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once

  • Self-starter with the skills to manage through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence across diverse audiences

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working across the North America geography to elevate the forecasting process and lead the daily business management to increase profitability within the financial & inventory targets.

  • Develop and expand integrated forecasting process & tools by merchandise product category

  • Lead, prepare, and present current business in comparison to trend, plan, and forecast for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews

  • Analyze and identify risks and opportunities to adapt the current business and provide insights to tailor future assortments and buy placements

  • Actively engage with team members to identify opportunities and efficiencies within the business

  • Drive cross-channel collaboration within the integrated marketplace to enhance profitability through shared inventory strategies

  • Effectively communicate and connect at all levels between the planning and merchandising processes for US wholesale across the seasonal process.
