About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Treasury Analyst to support enterprise liquidity management with a focus on the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and FR 2052a reporting. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a solid understanding of liquidity concepts, and a desire to work across a variety of treasury initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to LCR and 2052a reporting, help assess the liquidity impact of business activities, and support broader treasury data and process improvement efforts.
In this role, you will:
- Support LCR and FR 2052a reporting, including data analysis, interpretation of regulatory guidance, and identification of key business drivers.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of liquidity reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with business lines to understand how new products and transactions impact liquidity metrics.
- Assist in identifying and resolving data quality issues related to liquidity reporting, including 2052a submissions.
- Participate in documentation of data sourcing, transformations, and regulatory interpretations.
- Support responses to internal and external reviews, including regulatory exams and audits.
- Work with cross-functional teams including Treasury, Finance, Risk, Technology, and Data Governance.
- Help mentor junior analysts and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- A BS/BA degree or higher in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Familiarity with LCR regulatory requirements and liquidity risk concepts.
- Experience with FR 2052a reporting, including data sourcing and reconciliation.
- Experience working at a large financial institution.
- Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and analyzing balance sheet behavior.
- Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods.
- Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems.
- Experience with regulatory reporting systems and data governance practices.
- Familiarity with other liquidity risk metrics (e.g., NSFR, internal stress metrics) is a plus.
