Job Title: Lead Solutions Engineer
Employment Status: Full-time
Office Hours: Monday - Friday, in-office with 1 day WFH option
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Salary: $115,000 - $150,000 + variable comp + equity options
*OTE may be negotiated based on experience level
As a Ketryx Lead Solutions Engineer, you will play a dual role: directly supporting our large accounts through hands-on technical engagement while also building, mentoring, and leading a growing Solutions Engineering team. This position will be based in our Cambridge, MA office. Responsibilities:
- Lead by example as a hands-on Solutions Engineer for large accounts, running tailored demos, technical deep-dives, and proof-of-concepts.
- Manage and mentor a growing Solutions Engineering team, providing guidance for early-career hires as well as seasoned professionals.
- Develop scalable processes for team growth, onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and craft solution proposals emphasizing our key value propositions: higher quality, faster releases, and inspection readiness.
- Craft compelling technical narratives and solution architectures aligned with customer pain points and regulatory expectations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Application Lifecycle Management in regulated environments.
- Help define KPIs for SE team performance and customer engagement.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving regulatory standards.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer success, technical support, sales engineering, or related.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring team members, ideally in a scaling environment.
- Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management, DevOps practices, and software development in regulated environments.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with various DevTools and understanding of their role in the software development process.
- Familiarity with life sciences regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA) and software validation requirements.
- Willingness to travel.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience scaling SE teams or working in a high-growth startup environment.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced settings.
- Prior experience in technical product software, especially in the life sciences space.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Previous startup experience.
