As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector / AI/ML & Data Platforms line of business, specially on the Fusion Analytics team, you will be an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. This position specifically is for a full stack developer to working on cutting edge Fusion Portfolio Analytics application. This suite of applications provide our clients with complex and configurable portfolio analytics alongside the larger Fusion Data Platform, providing a comprehensive set of financial analytics to clients alongside the comprehensive suite of data provided by the Fusion platform.

Job Responsibilities:
- Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Develop secure high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 5+ years of application development experience in a finance technology environment
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience with Java server-side development.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and ideally React front end development
- Experience with Python
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience, ideally with AWS
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Working knowledge of finance and financial instruments
- Working knowledge of performance or risk analytics
