About this role:
As a Lead Software Engineer within Platform Management Engineering Services (part of Enterprise Functions Technology), you will lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack solutions that are secure, scalable, and resilient. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade applications and services, while also contributing to the advancement of AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities across the organization.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
  • Architect and build scalable, secure, and observable systems in cloud-native environments (Azure, GCP, Kubernetes)
  • Drive AI/ML and GenAI initiatives, contributing to model development, integration, and deployment
  • Collaborate with SREs and platform engineers to enhance system reliability, telemetry, and automation
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices across the team
  • Participate in system design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root cause analysis efforts
  • Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development
  • Proficiency in Java, React, TypeScript, and Spring Boot
  • Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or OpenShift)
  • Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk)
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitAction, Artifactory
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with GraphQL, Apollo, or content-driven web applications
  • Hands-on experience with Crafting effective prompts for LLMs and leveraging Python for integration and ML model development
  • Exposure to AIOps, SRE principles, and infrastructure as code
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts to leadership
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, SQL optimization, and data modeling
  • Background in AI/ML and Generative AI projects (e.g., model training, prompt engineering, integration)

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
