It's with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add a Lead Software Engineer to our team.
Hireology is based in Chicago, but our Engineering and UX teams work remotely, so you'll be able to work from the comfort of your home. We have regular company-wide events, semi-annual team gatherings, and frequent celebrations when we hit our goals.
As our Lead Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
  • Design, develop, and implement software systems utilizing server-side frameworks including Node.js, .NET, Rails and Java EE
  • Utilize Client-side Technologies including React, Angular, and Vue.js and UI/UX
  • Utilize API driven architecture including RESTful services and third-party API integrations
  • Improve system performance and responsiveness
  • Participate in DevOps tasks, design reviews, coding modules, code reviews, unit testing, and automated acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with experienced software developers in the design, development, and maintenance of our application
  • Partner closely with product and business teams to ensure delivering the best possible outcomes for internal and external customers
  • Act as a mentor for junior developers and foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field of study AND three (3) years of experience in the position offered, or as a Sr. Software Engineer or Lead Software Engineer.
Prior Experience must include experience with the following:
  • Designing, developing, and implementing software systems utilizing server-side frameworks including Node.js, .NET, and Java EE;
  • Utilizing Client-side Technologies including React, Angular, and Vue.js and UI/UX;
  • Utilizing API driven architecture including RESTful services and third-party API integrations.

100% telecommuting role. Reports to company headquarters in Chicago, IL . Can work remotely or telecommute.

Compensation: $191,400 per year
Hours/Week: 09:00 a.m. - 05:00 p.m.
