JOB DESCRIPTION
Green Dot Corporation is seeking a Lead SDET to join the CES team, driving test strategy, automation, and quality assurance across Salesforce CRM and IVR platforms. This role blends deep technical expertise in test automation with domain knowledge in CRM workflows and voice-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads and Builds test automation frameworks using ReadyAPI/SoapUI for rest-based APIs hosted on Amazon cloud and Azure cloud, as well as contribute to the existing automated frameworks to be used by other Automation SDETs and QA Engineers.
- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github).
- Leads the creation of test strategy, test planning, and test execution related to all aspects of testing like functional, integration, systems, end-2-end testing, accessibility, database validations and automation.
- Designs and implements automated test frameworks for Salesforce applications (Lightening, Apex, Visual Force).
- Validate Salesforce integration with third party systems and APIs.
- Ensure test coverage across custom objects, workflows, triggers, and data migration.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers and admins to ensure testability of features.
- Leads efforts for IVR flows, call routing logic, and voice recognition systems.
- Develop automated and manual test cases for IVR platforms (Twilio).
- Simulate call scenarios and validate end-to-end voice interactions.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility and telecom standards.
- Be hands-On contributor and manage a team of QA Engineers through all phases of testing
- Reviews requirements and design specifications, and derive test strategy to validate end to end user flow journeys, reports test results, drives the defect triage process with stakeholders, while adhering to established QA and Project Management processes
- Take ownership and work proactively with minimum supervision on the QA team’s assigned testing tasks and delivering them on time and efficiently as per project deadlines
- Leads the production verification and validation activities for post-released applications
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of in-depth QA Engineering experience including hands-on automation experience and at least 2 years as a SDET QA Lead
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience acceptable
- Proficient in one or more programming and scripting languages - C#, Java, Python, Groovy, JS
- Must be hands-On with AWS and Azure Cloud API services testing
- Must be hands-On with API testing tools – ReadyAPI, Soap UI, JMeter.
- Must be hands-On with complex SQL queries using databases like MySQL and MS SQL
- Must be hands-On with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and familiar with testing lifecycle tools like TestRail
- Experience in leading and delivering for medium to large testing projects, including test automation
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and organizational skills to manage testing on multiple projects
- Experience with Agile methodology and concepts using JIRA or similar Agile tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fintech or customer support technology platforms.
- Familiarity with CES operational domains such as escalation management and voice-of-customer programs.
- Contributions to open-source QA frameworks or technical publications.
- Demonstrated leadership in building scalable QA practices, as outlined in internal QA leadership documentation.

RegularPAY RANGE
The targeted base salary for this position is $139,900 to $199,300 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.<<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>>
