GE Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Encompass Support Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and customer satisfaction of our Encompass product. The ideal candidate will possess technical skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Quality Assurance Leader: Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards are met in all aspects of Encompass product support and implementation.

  • Customer Requests Management: Handle and manage customer requests for changes to their Encompass maps, including labels and floorplan modifications.

  • Secondary Trainer: Assist as a secondary trainer, covering training sessions that the primary trainer cannot attend.

  • On Location Vendor Lead: Lead vendor teams on-site during new installations and refreshes, ensuring successful deployment and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications   

  • Proven experience in a support role, preferably within a technical environment.

  • Strong technical skills, particularly in troubleshooting WiFi connections, including:

    • Understanding of WiFi standards and protocols (e.g., IEEE 802.11).

    • Ability to perform network diagnostics and use tools such as WiFi analyzers.

    • Experience with configuring routers and access points.

    • Knowledge of common WiFi issues and solutions, such as signal interference and bandwidth optimization.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel for on-site installations and training sessions.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with GE Healthcare products, specifically Encompass.

  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD.

  • Diagnose and resolve Wi-Fi connectivity issues, including signal strength assessment, interference identification, and network configuration adjustments

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $89,600.00-$134,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
