The Lead QA Analyst oversees the QA process, mentors the team, develops test plans, utilizes automated tools, and coordinates UAT.

We are looking for a skilled Lead QA Analyst to oversee the quality assurance process across projects at ClearlyAgile.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and mentor the QA team to ensure adherence to best practices in testing methodologies.
- Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system access and functional requirements.
- Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to increase efficiency and reduce regression testing time.
- Review and report on testing results, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and practices.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
- Assist in requirement gathering and analysis as necessary.
- Analyze and prioritize defects to enhance product quality.
Requirements
What we’re looking for is someone who is dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards and will approach this role with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
- Proficient in designing and implementing testing strategies for both manual and automated testing.
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JMeter, TestNG, JUnit.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey quality expectations and testing results.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
PREFERRED:
- Experience with cloud-based applications and services.
- Knowledge of security testing tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages.
- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
LOCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work east coast hours from your home office in the US.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (no subcontracts or visa sponsorship).
