What You Will Do:
• Serve as the lead digital product owner enabling the source to contract transformation, for the Sourcing and Item Master modules in PROcure.
- Serve as the
- Work directly with a wide range of Caterpillar's Strategic Procurement & Planning Division (SPPD) team members, enterprise representatives, and suppliers, including presenting recommendations to senior divisional leaders.
- Own the quality of designed and configured module to ensure successful deployment.
- Identifies, documents, and reports design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs. Gathers and consolidates feedback from customers and field staff.
- Coordinates with field support specialists and customers to address and resolve problems and expand product usage.
- Lead development of Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) workflows and utilize the analytic functions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support process partner groups or deployment sites through the "delta-dip" process and technology change.
- Collects and interprets voice of the customer information to direct new and enhanced service offerings.
- Own product scorecards and strategic product roadmap for accountable modules
- Recommend areas for proactive service offering improvements.
- Own regression testing and defect resolution prior to system go live, and post go live.
- Support end to end and user acceptance testing.

Software Engineering
- Supports development and delivery of software components, ensuring integration across platforms and systems.
- Applies structured methodologies and documentation for feature development and scheduling.
- Understands software design practices and considerations for quality and scalability.
Software Problem Management
- Tracks and resolves common software issues, documenting progress and providing customer feedback.
- Applies proper escalation procedures and problem-solving tools for complex issues.
- Coordinates resolution strategies involving multiple products or vendors.
Software Product Business Knowledge
- Maintains product requirements and customer usage data to inform enhancements and future planning.
- Supports major installations and customizations while expanding sales opportunities.
- Provides insights on advanced product features and non-traditional use cases to assess opportunities.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Designs and evaluates acceptance tests aligned with contractual and legal requirements.
- Consults on test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure completeness and effectiveness.
- Guides end-users in defining environments and criteria for successful testing outcomes.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- 5+ years of Procurement or IT experience
- Experience working in DevOps
- Strong collaboration skills demonstrated through working within the workgroup, across departments, functional roles.
