Caterpillar Inc. seeks Lead Product Owner at its facility located at 501 SW Jefferson Ave, Peoria, IL 61605. Provide day-to-day support to customers and field service staff in relation to product implementation, customization, questions, and problems. Coordinate with product development engineers to track and communicate design, development, support, and maintenance problems and solutions. Identify, document, and report design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs. Gather and consolidate feedback from customers and field staff. Coordinate with field support specialists and customers to address and resolve problems and expand product usage. Answer customer and field support questions. Provide guidance and support for product integration and infrastructure issues. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Plus, 5 years of experience as a product owner/manager, lead business analyst, scrum master or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Business analysis and identifying business needs to create accurate user stories, and recommending platform solutions to stakeholders; (2) Software change request management from customers, vendors, and internal teams; (3) Delivering and enhancing fee-based software engineering products; (4) Resolving and managing software problems such as with: technical errors, incorrect or missing user requirements, and working through application bugs; (5) Managing business aspects and operations of software products and installing base, current uses, future plans and product vision; and (6) User Acceptance testing (UAT) and designing, implementing, and evaluating acceptance tests for end-users. Telecommuting: 100% Telecommuting permitted.
Summary Pay Range:
$132,101.00 - $204,720.00
