DIRECTV is seeking a Lead Product Marketing Manager to design, evolve, and effectively communicate the content curation and merchandising strategy for key editorial and marketing disciplines, which will drive content discovery, increase customer engagement, and create revenue opportunities.

Here's what you’ll do:

  • Generate an editorial strategy for specific content categories which may encompass cable networks, premium channels, FAST or SVOD.
  • Lead the curation team’s strategy for 1 - 2 specific marketing disciplines, which may include merchandising, analytics, promotions, or others.
  • As the SME for select categories, determine what content to prioritize and when, educate the team, and ensure effective execution across all distribution channels.
  • Analyze data related to viewership, customer journey, and user experience, to evaluate and improve platform performance as measured by engagement KPIs.
  • Develop innovative solutions and creative concepts to improve content discovery, drive upsell, and create new revenue opportunities.
  • Directly implement the strategies, developed by your team members, on a single distribution platform.
  • Partner with the Product team to recommend improvements and build requirements relevant to content curation and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Content, Marketing, and Customer Acquisition to achieve company goals.
  • Engage with external distribution partners to create custom curation strategies that tie to business goals.
  • Act as a content Subject Matter Expert to the broader enterprise.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field preferred.
  • 3 - 5+ years of marketing experience in the entertainment industry.
  • Proven experience in content curation or related role.
  • Strong knowledge and/or experience with current content types preferred (i.e. Network, SVOD, etc.).
  • Familiarity with content management systems and digital tools.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform merchandising strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $105,830 - $192,050

Low (N1): $105,830 - $158,650

Mid (N2): $111,400 - $167,000

High (N3): $122,540 - $183,700

Top (N4): $128,110 - $192,050

Please note that the salary ranges reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits - when you consider all of these together, it represents a pretty impressive total compensation package.
