As the Lead Product Manager for External Reporting within the Global Data and Analytics Organization, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how Manulife John Hancock delivers data and insights to its customers. By spearheading the development and execution of a strategic reporting road map, you will drive innovation and differentiation in our reporting offerings. Your leadership will ensure the seamless integration of technology, operations, and business units, fostering a culture of innovation and customer obsession. Through your expertise in financial data and analytics, you will empower teams to enhance data delivery processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead Reporting Road Map: Develop and manage the reporting road map for the new product offerings, collaborating with product, technology, and operations teams to deliver innovative data solutions to Manulife John Hancock customers.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, and business units, to ensure cohesive development and delivery of reporting initiatives in a SAFe agile environment.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align external reporting with internal standards and data governance.

  • Industry Expertise and Innovation: Utilize knowledge of the financial industry, particularly in retirement, to drive standardization, enhance data delivery processes, and foster a culture of innovation and customer obsession within the Global Retirement Data and Analytics team.

  • Leadership in Transformation: As a key leader within the Global Retirement Data and Analytics team, you will inspire and elevate your team by fostering a culture of innovation and customer obsession. By promoting collaboration and inclusivity, you will empower team members to tackle challenges and devise creative solutions, enhancing delivery efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Advanced or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields.

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in developing and implementing strategic product road maps.

  • 2-5 years of leadership experience, including leading teams and influencing within a large organization.

  • Knowledge of the financial industry, specifically in retirement and financial health.

  • Experience with FIS/Omni recordkeeping is preferred but not required.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Agile/SAFe methodologies and experience with JIRA/Confluence.

  • Expertise in data manipulation, analysis, warehousing, mining, extraction, and visualization.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with partners.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, R, Spark, and Excel for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.

  • Ability to interpret and translate terminology between technical and business users.

Salary range is expected to be between

$120,750.00 USD - $217,350.00 USD
