WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO?
- Define & Execute the Design Vision - Spearhead the company’s overall design direction—merging user experience principles with captivating visual design to create cohesive, on-brand products.
- Build & Maintain a Figma Design System - Develop and continually refine a scalable design system in Figma, ensuring visual consistency and efficient implementation across all product components.
- Champion Design Best Practices - Establish and uphold UX/UI standards, guiding the core SaaS product’s interface and user flows to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business objectives into intuitive designs, from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups.
- Lead User Research & Validation - Plan and conduct user interviews, usability tests, and feedback sessions, leveraging insights to refine both the experience and visual appeal of all features.
REQUIREMENTS: THE VALUE YOU WILL BRING!
- 5+ Years in UX/UI or Product Design: Proven track record in creating and implementing user-centered designs, with at least a few years in a leadership or senior capacity.
- Portfolio of Strong Visual Design: Demonstrated proficiency in crafting engaging user interfaces and maintaining consistent brand aesthetics.
- Expert-Level Figma Skills: Experience in building, scaling, and governing a robust design system within Figma.
- SaaS Environment Experience: Familiarity with designing for SaaS products, especially enterprise or B2B solutions, is highly desirable.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range estimate for this position is $155,000- $165,000 USD + equity. These numbers are based on our compensation philosophy and US national averages since, as a fully remote company, we do not adjust compensation based on location.
Ostro’s goal is to provide an inclusive and equitable work environment for current and future Ostronauts. Within that range, actual compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to skills, job expectations, and relevant training.
